Tennis Skirts and Skorts

Every skirt in this department has shorts underneath. That is the definition of a skort, and it is the reason a tennis skirt works on a court, on a bike, and on a walk to the coffee shop afterwards.

Length runs from 14 to 15 inches, which lands mid-thigh on most people. The pleated ones move more and photograph better. The plain ones sit flatter under a long top and stay tidier in wind.

Pockets are the practical question. A skirt with a pocket in the inner short holds a phone or two balls, and every page says where the pocket is. A skirt with no pocket line has no pocket.

These are athletic skirts, not office ones. The waistband is elastic, the fabric is stretch knit, and the whole thing goes through a washing machine without complaint.
